Here are some photos of some of the other fires that burned in the area during the 2006 season:

August 2006 - The Potato Fire north of Stanley on the Challis National Forest was spectacular. It burned in the upper Basin Creek and Yankee Fork drainages and threatened historic structures at Bonanza and Custer. Originally it was thought to have started on Potato Mountain, thus the name.
